Honey Carolina Pulled Pork Sliders
Leftover pulled pork, a pan of rolls and Honey Carolina. Twelve sliders in 20 minutes for the tailgate.
You'll need
- 1 pack (12) Hawaiian rolls
- 1 1/2 lb pulled pork (see our Memphis-style pulled pork)
- 3/4 cup Sieveking's Honey Carolina BBQ sauce, plus more to serve
- 6 slices pepper jack or provolone
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Quick slaw: 2 cups coleslaw mix, 2 Tbsp mayo, 1 Tbsp cider vinegar, pinch of salt
How to
- Heat the oven to 350°F. Without separating the rolls, slice the whole slab in half horizontally and set the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Warm the pork with the sauce. Spread it over the bottom rolls and lay the cheese on top.
- Add the top half. Brush with the butter mixed with garlic powder.
- Cover with foil and bake 10 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 minutes more, until the tops are golden and the cheese melts.
- Stir the slaw together. Cut the sliders apart and serve with slaw and extra sauce.
