Our story
We've been friends for over twenty years, and we've spent most of them arguing about barbecue and anything that friends argue about! As our other friend Mitch shakes his head from a distance.
It was never really settled. Bryan’s side is thick and smooth and built on honey and apples — mild enough that it ends up on everything, chicken tenders and fries included. Shane’s is tangier and bolder, with enough on the back end that you notice it, and it turns out to be just as good on a steak as it is on a rib. Neither of us has moved much.
So we bottled both. Sieveking’s Honey is Bryan’s, Stoten’s Blazin is Shane’s, and Sweet & Smoky — mustard-forward and smoky, in the Southern Carolina Gold tradition — is the one we finally agreed on. Buy the trio and settle it yourself.
Double S is Sieveking and Stoten. Small batches, made for us and now made for you, out of Saint Peters, Missouri.
